The Holmes
The Holmes is an area of land still in the ownership of Thirsk Manor, it is leased by and looked after by Thirsk Town Council for the benefit of residents and visitors alike.
The old cottages were demolished during an "improvement" scheme and the rubble was used to fill in the millrace.
